Cookie Swap
Annual Christmas Cookie Swap
There are very few things I love more than cake…but Christmas cookies are definitely giving cake a run for its money!
So once again, I’m inviting all of you to become my willing co-conspirators at our Annual Christmas Cookie Swap on Sunday, December 20 at 12:30 p.m.
This is good old-fashioned holiday fun—the kind where everyone arrives with one kind of cookie and goes home with a wonderful assortment of homemade Christmas treats. And really, isn’t a container filled with cookies that someone else baked one of the great joys of the season?
To participate, simply bring four dozen cookies. You can make all four dozen the same or split them between two different kinds—it’s completely up to you. We do have a few simple rules to keep things fair and fun, but nothing complicated. My goal is for everyone to feel comfortable joining in, whether you’re the person who starts baking Christmas cookies in November or the person frantically looking for a recipe the night before.
There is just one golden rule of our cookie swap:
Bring cookies that you would be happy to receive.
Come join us for an afternoon of Christmas cheer, a little visiting and laughing, and—most importantly—a whole lot of cookies. Bring four dozen and head home with a delicious assortment to enjoy with your family over the holidays.
Of course, whether those cookies actually make it home is entirely up to you. We don’t judge.
