Ruler Work 102 on Your Domestic Sewing Machine

Ready to take your free-motion quilting to the next level? Join us for an exciting class to expand your ruler work skills on your domestic sewing machine using Amanda Murphy rulers (or equivalent rulers from your favorite brand).

Ruler work opens up a whole new world of precision and creativity. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to use your quilting ruler safely and confidently with your domestic machine to create oval designs and decorative motifs. We’ll review proper ruler foot setup, machine settings, ruler safety, and stitching techniques that help you achieve professional-looking results.

Rulerwork 101 is a pre-requisite for this class. You’ll build on skills already learned to expand your repertoire of designs — from simple borders to stunning all-over designs.  Bring your domestic machine equipped with a ruler foot, your Amanda Murphy ruler (or similar), and get ready to quilt with precision and flair!  Sewing machine required.

Because we appreciate your business, Emma’s Quilt Cupboard & Sewing Center offers a 10% discount on all fabrics, books, and specific supplies that you purchase for your class.  You will also receive 10% off long-arm quilting services for your class project.
