Emma's 2026 Fall Quilting Retreat - November 7-10, 2026
Our November Retreat Is ON — and We’re Heading to Cape Cod!
I am absolutely delighted to finally be able to say it: our November Fall Retreat is officially happening!
As many of you know, when our longtime retreat venue was sold last spring, I suddenly found myself searching for a new home for our retreat—and I quickly discovered just how difficult it is to find a location that can accommodate everything we need.
Because this isn't just about finding enough hotel rooms and a meeting room.
I need a space where we can sew comfortably without being crowded, enough electrical capacity to handle lots and lots of sewing machines (and all those irons!), a wonderful place to eat and gather, comfortable accommodations, and most importantly, a setting where we can preserve that special sense of community that has always been at the heart of our retreats.
After five months of searching, I found it!
We're going to The Lighthouse Inn in West Dennis on Cape Cod!
The Lighthouse Inn is a beautiful oceanfront property with that wonderful, classic Cape Cod feel. The property features clusters of cottages along with large gathering and dining spaces overlooking the ocean. It has recently come under new ownership, and both the dining area and the large meeting space we'll be using have been beautifully renovated.
Will it be different from the retreat location we've known in the past? Absolutely. And I think that's part of the fun!
So many of you have been retreating with me for years, and you've helped create something that is much more than a few days away to sew. You've created friendships. You've welcomed new people into the group. You've laughed, learned, shared meals, encouraged one another—and probably stayed up sewing much later than you intended!
That doesn't change because we're changing locations.
In fact, I'm looking forward to taking everything we've loved about our retreats and bringing it with us to The Lighthouse Inn.
The "Club Med" of Quilting Retreats Is Back!
I've always joked that my goal is to create the "Club Med" of quilting retreats—a few wonderful days where you don't have to worry about anything except having fun.
That means sewing, learning, friendship, shopping, community, massages, surprises, eating, more sewing, more eating...and did I mention eating?
I'm not changing that vision!
Our November retreat will be 3 nights and 4 days, beginning Saturday at noon and ending Tuesday at 4 p.m.
Your retreat fee includes your accommodations and all meals beginning with Saturday dinner and continuing through Tuesday lunch, along with secure access to our sewing room, a class workshop, a mystery quilt, gifts, activities, and plenty of those little surprises that make retreat weekend special.
And because I want to preserve the comfortable sewing space and close-knit atmosphere that our retreaters love, this retreat will be limited to just 40 participants.
Retreat Pricing
Triple Occupancy — $699 per person
Double Occupancy — $779 per person
Single Occupancy — $929
Every sleeping room has its own private bathroom. We also have early arrival or extended departure if you are interested.
For the first time, we're also able to offer a triple occupancy option. Triple rooms have two beds for three people, with a cot available upon request depending upon your group's preferred sleeping arrangement.
One Important Difference This Time
Because finding our new location took much longer than I ever anticipated, we have only eight weeks until retreat!
For that reason, registration will require payment in full rather than the deposit option we normally offer.
I know that's a shorter window than we've had in the past, and I truly appreciate your flexibility.
But most of all, I hope those of you who have retreated with me before will come along for this next adventure—and if you've always thought about joining us but haven't taken the plunge, this might just be the retreat to do it.
New location. Same retreat family. Same friendship, fun, food, sewing, and laughter—only this time, we're doing it with an ocean view!
I can't wait to see what this next chapter of our retreats looks like.
I hope you'll be part of it.
