Learn to Quilt 1
Description
You can learn to quilt! I know you can. This is a 9-week class where you will be making a small quilt – fully finished -- while being introduced to the basics. You will learn about quilting tools, needles, rotary cutters, rulers, threads, fabric, etc. Also, cutting, pressing, and a variety of sewing techniques. We will finish up the quilt with batting, sandwiching, quilting your quilt layers together, and applying the binding. I know that this may sound like a lot, but the foundation you will receive will absolutely set you up for success going forward. Check out some of our testimonials from past students on our website. Sewing machine required.
Do not purchase any fabric before coming to the first class. At this class you will learn a lot about fabric selection, color, value, contrast, scale – all of which will help you make much better fabric selections for your project.
