DAY 7 - STUFF MY STOCKING

Today's deal is a bundle for creating string scrap quilts:  The Gypsy Quilter 13" Scrap Tape, the Creative Grids 12" Fussy Cut Ruler, and the Clover Roll and Press.  Each can be purchased separately, but the magic is in the collective items in the bundle.

The Gypsy Quilter Scrap Tape is a wash away foundation that stabilizes the grain line of fabric until it is sewn into the finished project. This 13-inch wide tape is the perfect width to use as the foundation of crazy quilt blocks. Stitch and flip the fabrics until the entire surface is covered. Then trim down to size. Since scrap tape washes away with water, do not use steam or a starch/starch alternative while constructing your blocks. Wash the stabilizer away AFTER the project is complete. One package includes 10 yards of 13in wide Scrap Tape, enough to make (26) 13in blocks.

For the Creative Grids 12" Fussy Cut/Square up Ruler, use the horizontal, vertical, and diagonal markings to square up any block – up to a 12-1/2 inch square. Use these lines to center and trim embroidery designs, applique blocks, and even fussy cut T-Shirts for T-Shirt quilts. (Fussy cutting is choosing a specific design in the fabric to showcase in your project.) The drilled holes at 1-1/2 to 11-1/2 inch increments, make it possible to square up, mark and add the seam allowance to any block. 

The Clover Roll & Press is a convenient and quick way to press seams at the sewing machine. Roll to press a seam or fold. Straight, curved, or paper pieced seams. It won't pull or distort fabric; the wheel is tapered to focus pressure on the seam. Comfortable, ergonomic handle.
